Hedge Carissa Grandiflora ‘Desert Star’

Carissa grandiflora Desert Star (syn. Carissa macrocarpa ‘Desert Star’), commonly known just as Desert Star, is a small, compact shrub with superb rounded, glossy, green leaves. The shrub is regularly adorned with attractive white, sweetly scented, star-shaped flowers. A drought-tolerant and extremely hardy plant, needing little to no maintenance, makes her an ideal plant for your garden. She has small thorns so can be a bonus in areas of your garden where you wish to deter foot traffic.
