Springtime is an evergreen that has an upright growth habit. She’s a tough one and not too fast growing small to medium shrub that creates the perfect low hedge or boundary-with-a-view marker.

This lovely shrub has dark-green leathery and glossy leaves that shine after rainfall, and rather large star-shaped pink flowers that take you by surprise in Spring. The flowers are deliciously scented and worshipped by pollinators. 

Perfect for wildlife gardens. Springtime is frost hardy and able to grow in pretty much any climate from hot to temperate – and yes, that includes coastal gardens.

This is a dependable, easy care shrub for wildlife-lovers and low maintenance gardens.

• What to use me for:  I make a thick, wide hedge that stays low and won’t block your view but will keep out unwanted guests. If you want to attract pollinators then I’m the one for you. Salt tolerant

• I grow to:  1.5m high and up to 2-2.5ms wide.

• I am currently:  20 cms and getting taller every day.

• Where to place me:  I like full sun to partial shade.

• How far to space me: I start small and grow slowly but I’ll need 120cms of space.

• Soil Conditions: Literally anything so long as it’s not waterlogged. I am not fussy. 

Beautifully grown and mature in size with developed roots and guaranteed sun hardened. These plants can be inserted straight into the ground and make an excellent garden plant.
