Indoor Garden Alocasias Alocasia Lowii ‘Bebe’/’Bambino’ – 85mm

Alocasia lowii ‘Bebe’/’Bambino’ is a smaller, more compact version of Alocasia lowii ‘Polly amazonica’. The extremely glossy, dark green leaves are spear-shaped with broad, bold and white veins. It is a stunning feature plant for shadier parts of the garden.

For success indoors, it must be in a well-lit position away from direct sun and the potting mix allowed to be drier through the colder months. This is a perfect choice for a tabletop pot plant for the office environment or within your home. If you wish to make a statement this is the plant for you!

• What to use me for: Wow factor! indoor plant, stunning outdoor shade plant

• I grow to: 30cm-50cm

• I am currently: 20cm high  

• Where to place me: a well-lit position away from direct sunlight

• How far to space me: 30cm apart

• Watering: Water little but often, requires good drainage. Cut back in the cooler months – I don’t like wet feet.

• My features: Extremely glossy, dark green leaves are spear-shaped with broad, bold and white veins.

• Tip: Spraying with warm soapy water every few weeks helps prevent bugs. If an Alocasia plant does become infested, spray with neem oil. This kills both the pests and their eggs.

Please note these are 85mm pots so you will receive three plants in our custom designed box.
