Indoor Garden Alocasias Alocasia Lowii ‘Polly Amazonica’

Alocasia lowii ‘Polly amazonica’ is a smaller, more compact version of Alocasia x amazonica and bears a larger leaf than the Alocasia lowii bebe. The extremely glossy, dark green leaves are spear-shaped with broad, bold and white veins. It is a stunning feature plant for shadier parts of the garden. For success indoors it must be in a well-lit position away from direct sun and the potting mix allowed to be drier through the colder months.

• How far to space me: 45cm apart

• Watering: Water little but often, requires good drainage. Cut back in the cooler months – I don’t like wet feet.

• My features: glossy, dark green leaves are spear-shaped with broad, bold and white veins. I have a larger leaf than the bebe variety.
