Freddy’s striking foliage is covered in silver and green stripes that look painted on. His foliage just masses out and fills a pot with luscious greenery that makes you feel happy.

He’s an easy to grow pet-friendly houseplant just perfect for gifting or brightening a dull room, and best of all he can tolerate lower light levels – so deck out your desk.

• What to use me for: My funky foliage means I’m perfect for pots, table tops, a handsome office plant, or year-round gifting and I’m pet-friendly if you’re worried about your fur balls.

• I grow to: I’m a smaller sized Calathea with a max height of 30cms.

• Where to place me: I enjoy light shade and dappled light. I’m not a sun worshipper.

• How far to space me: Give me 25cms of elbow room

• Soil Conditions: I like to dry out before having a drink. Wait for an inch of dry soil in my pot before watering me.
