The Ficus Benjamina “Midnight Beauty” is a really lovely ficus named for her dark green cascading foliage.

This is a feature pot plant for bare indoor spaces. She’ll grow two metres in height if re-potted over time, but if you prefer a small office desk size no problem – don’t repot her.

We love this ficus indoors, but she’s also great on the patio or in the garden. Two matching bookends look formal and smart on your doorstep, and if you like a casual look scatter them around the pool area or empty parts of the garden.

• What to use me for: I give the tropical feels to your home or patio and look smart in a container. If you don’t know what to do with a bare wall I’m a stunning feature plant in your lounge.
• I grow to: I like to grow – in my natural rainforest habitat I’m a giant but I’ll only take up as much space as you give my roots.
• Where to place me:  I like full sun and partial shade is OK too. Don’t put me in direct sun from the window as it’ll burn my shiny foliage.
• Soil Conditions:  Well-drained soil is best for me, but I do need water in hot spells. Indoors be careful not to overwater me or my roots will rot. 

*Please note if planted in the natural ground these plants grow very large and have invasive roots so we recommend keeping it in a pot.
