Indoor Garden Full Sun Spathoglottis Far Out Freckles

Spathoglottis “Far Out Freckles” is known as the easy-care ‘garden orchid’. 

She has slender almost striped green leaves with bunches of purple shaded flowers. Each flower looks nearly spray-painted with a mist of purple freckles and darker at the tips. She’s an eye-catcher.

Spathoglottis will thrive if you keep their potting mix consistently moist and leave them in a nice bright spot indoors.

Water Far Out Freckles when the potting mix is starting to dry, but don’t leave her in a pot of water for days as this will only rot the roots. Just soak her in water for 30 minutes and let the pot drain before returning her to the bright spot. It’s simple – but if you need some more help read our blog on caring for houseplants
