If you’re more of a foliage than flowers person this leafy show stopper is for you.
Microsorum crocodyllus is not a crocodile but a fern-like plant who like his mates to call him The crocodile fern (sounds tougher)
Its fronds are wrinkled, dimpled and leathery to touch which reminds people of crocodile skin. His light green leaves are marked with dark green veins which can grow up to a metre in length.
This is a truly unique plant that you’re not going to see very often. It makes a stunning gift and a top pick ‘man plant’ for an office desk.
Crocodyllus is a tropical style plant that you’ll just wanna touch, but he isn’t fussy. Just regularly water when the soil is dry, keep him in indirect bright light, and watch those fronds lengthen. Read our guide to caring for indoor plants for more help if you need it!
