Philodendron Hope

Philodendron Hope is an easy-care houseplant or shade-loving outdoor plant that packs a huge pop of green contained in large lobed leaves on a curvy full silhouette.

She’s simple and attractive suiting all interior spaces, but minimal ones in particular. Her tropical style greenery stands out against a white wall and her upright growth habit of 1- 1.2m, means she can eventually sit in a pot on the floor.

Hope has beautiful heart-shaped leaves chopped into thick slices that bring a whole load of texture you’ll just want to touch, but she isn’t a diva by any means. Hope is a cheerful self-sufficient lady who takes plenty of neglect.

You’ll need to pot her up into well-drained potting mix and keep her moist but not wet. Place her in bright indirect sunlight and bingo – she’s working the whole room without moving.

Philodendron Hope is great understorey plant and  fits well in that lush tropical creation. She is a very easy care plant.

• Soil Conditions: I like well-drained fertile soils, so choose a free-draining potting mix for my container, please.
