Indoor Garden Stromanthe Sanguinea Easy Care Plants

Stromanthe Sanguinea ‘tricolour’ is a striking indoor plant with evergreen dark foliage that’s tinged with white and light-green tones all held stiffly upright so the red under-leaves can show off. Phew!

This is an interior decorator’s dream because it brings colour, shape and contrast, particularly against a plain white wall. Sanguinea suits an office desk, boring coffee table or bathroom shelf. You can plant it outside in a warm garden with plenty of shade for a totally tropical feel too.

If you care for it well you might be rewarded with white and orange flowers in the spring months.
