Let us introduce Rhaphiolepis Indica Cosmic White. She produces masses of large white flowers that pollinators go crazy for in Spring, but don’t be fooled by her prettiness. This is a tough evergreen shrub that’s disease resistant and just about bullet-proof! 

The difference between Cosmic White and the standard Rhaphiolepis is simply that Cosmic White has larger and more profuse flowers. If you treat her well she’ll flower on and off all year.

Cosmic White will grow just about anywhere in any soil type but will produce the best flowers in moist, well-drained fertile soils with the sun on her face. A bonus is that she rarely produces seed so won’t spread across bush-land.

This is a simply stunning hedging shrub.

• What to use me for:  I’m a stunning flowering hedge or unusual addition to a large mixed border. I’m ideal for the wildlife garden too.

• I grow to:  I’ll reach 200cms by 150cm.

• Where to place me:  I like full sun and partly-shaded areas.

• How far to space me: I get pretty big so 120cm of space is best.

• Soil Conditions: I am so not fussy it’s unbelievable, but not waterlogged soil though. There are very few plants that like it mushy.
