Shrubs Agapanthus Orientalis Black Magic Border Plants

Looking for a flowering plant that will withstand long periods of neglect? The Agapanthus orientalis Black Magic is a unique looking Agapanthus which is fast growing, hardy and can be grown in most parts of Australia. It has strappy green clumping leaves and produces black flower buds that open up to dark purple flowers which can stand about 2m tall. This is a super dramatic plant perfect against a white fence or as a hardy border plant.

• I grow to: 1m high, 75cm wide (the flower can reach 2m tall)

• Where to place me: Full sun to part shade

• Soil Conditions: I like a well draining soil 

• My features: I can handle mild frosts and am drought tolerant (although I will flower better if I have a bit more water)
