Shrubs Ajuga Reptans Burgundy Lace Full Sun

Ajuga reptans Burgundy Lace commonly known as Burgundy Lace Ajuga or Burgundy Glow is a great low maintenance groundcover. It has coloured leaves with shades of purple, white, silver, cream, red or pink. Individual plants grow as a rosette, but they intertwine to form a solid carpet that withstands light foot traffic. In Spring to early Summer, the Ajuga produces blue/lavender colour flowers that pop up above the carpet of leaves. The plant is low maintenance and great in rock gardens, as a ground cover , along paths and in difficult sloping gardens.
