Alternanthera amoena ‘Purple Splash’ is grown mainly for the striking foliage colour and it’s bushy low-growing habit. Commonly known as “Purple Exhibition Border” The leaves are predominantly coloured purple/burgundy with splotches of hot pink and a touch of green. For a fast-growing colourful garden border, look no further! Planted on mass, it has great impact. Best grown in full sun but it will tolerate part shade. Requires protection from frost.
