Azalea kurume ‘Kirin’ is an evergreen shrub with small narrow green leaves often turning purplish in Winter. The absolute profusion of small coral pink flowers adorns the shrub in Spring. It is ideal for pots on semi-shaded patios, in garden beds and as a flowering carpet underneath trees. Choose a sheltered location with well-drained, humus-rich soil. While most Azaleas prefer dappled sun or afternoon shade, this variety will tolerate full sun.
