Banksia robur or Swamp Banksia is a fast-growing Native Australian Shrub and is super adaptable to most garden situations. This little guy is called the Swamp Banksia because it is naturally found in damper parts of the bush. In the garden, he will handle a damp, boggy spot but will also adapt to suit those drier conditions. The leaves of this beautiful shrub are large glossy green on top and light green underneath with serrated edges. Large blue/green flower spikes appear from January to July and turn to a golden yellow when mature. He’s a fast grower and will get to 1.5m tall in three years.
