Carex appressa, commonly known as Tall Sedge, is a very hardy plant, native to Australia, ideal for for ornamental landscape applications such as dry river bed gardens, ponds, wet and poorly draining areas of the garden. It is also perfect for constructed wetlands or bio-retention zones. Carex appressa is a clumping plant with upright to arching fine green, raspy foliage.
