Coffea Arabica
Do you like coffee and have you got plenty of outdoor space? If so, you can grow your own coffee at home!
The Coffea Arabica is an evergreen shrub with glossy evergreen foliage and pretty white flowers that grow in a jasmine-scented cluster. Berries mature from these flowers that gradually turn a bright red to purple.
Coffee beans are hidden inside the berry. Usually, you’ll get two beans per berry that you can process into your favourite drink.
This plant gets very large, grows best in warmer climates, and doesn’t deal with frost. It’ll take 2-3 years to produce beans so patience is required.
Please note due to this plant being listed as an invasive species we are unable to send to Queensland.
