Meet Lagerstroemia acoma, often called Crepe Myrtle. She’s an upright growing shrub, perfect as a small feature tree in your garden. Her coverage is glossy dark green leaves, that sprout new bronze shoots in Winter and throughout the summer months, she’ll provide you with bushy snow-white flowers. She is an excellent specimen tree for small gardens or for those large containers.
Prune her back in autumn after a leaf drop for summer flowering and a dense growth habit. Every six months fertilise with a slow-release fertiliser.
