Evolvulus Pilosus blue is also known as Blue Eyes or Blue Sapphire. It’s a pretty and effective ground cover that produces masses of little blue flowers that compliment its bushy silvery grey foliage.
If you have one of those areas that just needs a bit of colour without too much effort, this is the guy for you. When mass planted the effect of this simple bright blue ground cover is breathtaking – it’s so simple and clean.
We love to grow Evolvulus as a shaggy low-growing unclipped border filler where its spring to autumn flowers repeat bloom, but its looks equally as good in a container or hanging basket so the foliage can drape and soften edges.
Evolvulus loves full sun and can take some drought once established, but the flowers will really perform if you can water it in dry spells.
