Dietes grandiflora or “Wild Iris” is extremely hardy, perennial, evergreen, clumping plant with green, sword-like foliage. Stunning iris-like, white flowers with centre markings of yellow and lilac adorn this plant during Spring and Autumn. There will also be odd flowering at other times during the year. Dietes grandiflora is at its best in full sun, but will also perform admirably in part shade. Well drained soils are a must! Achieve a huge impact by mass planting these reliable plants, include them in an open garden or consider them for an informal hedge.
