Pandorea Jasminoides Alba
You might know Pandorea Jasminoides Alba better as the Bower Creeper.
She’s a pretty, decorative climber with jasmine-like, dark green leaves and in late spring to autumn (that’s a fair few months isn’t it?) she blooms white trumpet-shaped flowers with yellow throats and a delicate sweet scent.
This is a native plant that’s a quick grower and ideal for an ugly fence line or shed. She’ll cover a pergola, arch or carport with no problems, tolerating light frosts and rarely developing a disease.
Quick Facts

-
I am currently: approx 30cms
-
Where to place me: I prefer full sun to partial shade in a sheltered position
-
How far to space me: I like to spread a bit as well as climb so space me 150 – 200cms apart
-
Soil Conditions: Any really because I’m native but I do need a regular drink. Water me in dry spells and use a thick layer of mulch around my roots to conserve the moisture.
