Leptospermum Cardwell is a hardy upright shrub with masses of delicate white cup-shaped blossoms in late winter to summer. The flowers cover every part of the structure like snow. It’s a real show-stopper that creates a stunning focal point in the border or a pot on the patio.
This native beauty is a spreading shrub with upright branches that arch up and weep downwards to cover lots of ground. It does best in full sun and will handle a range of soil types despite its delicate appearance.
She’s a useful ground cover shrub for embankments and makes a fantastic display when mass planted. Try placing her in groups of three along the border for a truly stunning display.
Great in a wildlife garden as those flowers attract masses of pollinators and perfect for those who like low maintenance gardening. Trim her back after flowering if you want to maintain size and shape – if not just let her do her cascading thing.
