Leptospermum “Lemon Frost”
Lovers of scent step up.
Perhaps you already have lavender and you’re looking for something a bit different? Let us introduce Leptospermum Lemon Frost. Any guesses on his scent? Anyone?
This is a hardy upright shrub with dense evergreen foliage that’s strongly lemon-scented. Most people buy him for the cologne, not realising that Lemon Frost is totally smothered in single white flowers during the summer. Pollinators really like this guy.
He’s ideal as a flowering hedge or clipped into a specimen shrub, and when used as a windbreak or screen he releases fresh invigorating scent into the air. Pop him behind your seating area for shelter and you create a gloriously clean smelling garden.
Lemon Frost is also pretty hardy, enjoying a coastal environment and tolerating frosts.
If you like to green up your house bring some of his branches inside!
