Leptospermum rotundifolium Lavender Queen is also known as Tea-Tree, it is a compact native shrub which makes a great hedging plant in most gardens around Australia.
This little guy has small round leaves which sit on red stems and will reward you with large, lavender flowers in winter and spring that attract native birds and bees. This hardy little shrub is low maintenance and can handle salt, wind, drought and frosts.
Leptospermum got their common name of Tea Tree as their leaves were often uses as a tea substitute for early European settlers.
