Leptospermum scoparium Ballerina also goes by the name of Tea-Tree, she is a compact native shrub which makes a great hedging plant in most gardens around Australia. With small coppery green leaves, this shrub gets covered in pink and white flowers in winter and Spring making it a great addition to any garden to attract birds and bees.
Ballerina is a hardy little shrub which is low maintenance and can handle salt, wind, drought and light frosts.
Leptospermum got their common name of Tea Tree as their leaves were often used as a tea substitute for early European settlers.
