Myoporum parvifolium is also known as Creeping Boobialla.
He’s very popular as a groundcover because he’s native, fast-growing, and super drought/frost tolerant once established.
Myoporum parvifolium will easily cover a steep slope with his sturdy branches and dense mat of semi-succulent green leaves. This helps protect the soil and keeps pesky weeds down without effort on your part.
As well as being totally practical this is a very pretty spreading plant. He has small thick green leaves with little star-shaped white flowers in summer that our bees and birds just love.
If you’re torn between Myoporum parvifolium, or his cousin Fine Leaf what can we say? It’s all down to your preference. We love them both.
