Here’s our beautiful “Lady, Lady, Lady Powers” Palm. If you want tall, textured foliage with a hint of elegance this Lady is for you.

She has clustering upright stems that sprout leaves along the whole length. The leaves are short, glossy, dark green fans that shine if you wipe them regularly. The overall shape remains compact – she doesn’t push herself forward.

While Lady Palm grows well outside as a feature plant or palm screen by the pool or patio, this is one of the best houseplants for low light conditions.

She’s a great floor-based choice for the office if your desk is already full, and a greener-upper for your front room or bedroom. We all need some of the natural world in our lives so try this lovely lady indoors – it’s good for your health.

Quick Facts

• What to use me for:  I’m a lovely green indoor plant that requires little light and a textured tropical palm screen by the pool.

• I grow to: I’ll grow 2-4 metres high in the ground. 

• I am currently: 15-20cms

• Where to place me: In the garden, I need a sunny or semi shaded spot, but indoors I prefer low to medium filtered light. Definitely, no direct sunshine or my fronds will frazzle.

• How far to space me: I’m tall but skinny. Give me about a 100cms of space

• Soil Conditions: All outdoor soils are fine by me, but make them moist and well-drained, please. I don’t like consistently wet roots.
