Viola Hederacea Native Violet Say hello to Viola – she’s a gorgeous little native ground cover violet with lots of attitude.
In summer Viola produces a carpet of pretty purple and white flowers held above fresh green leaves. She creeps across the ground, amongst rocks, around a pond, covers bare soil beneath a tree, and crowds out the weeds as she stretches along a garden bed.
She also looks great around the sides of a pot, or put in the cracks of pavers and broken patio stones to soften the edges.
Viola needs very little care once established which makes her great for newbie gardeners and busy folk who don’t have the time or inclination to weed- we knew you’d like her.
