Shrubs Xanthorrhoea Glauca

The Xanthorrhoea glauca or grass tree is one of the most quintessential Austrian plants. With is large, sturdy blackened trunk that can reach to 5m and it’s arching ponytail grass top which is blueish / grey, it makes a magnificent specimen tree. Flowers appear on 3m high stalks and attract birds and bees. If you are looking for an architectural statement in your native garden the grass tree is hard to pass up.
