Agave Victoriae-Reginae
Also known as the Queen Victoria Agave, this is an architectural succulent that looks equally good indoors as she does in your garden.
Queenie is a smaller growing agave with pointed fleshy leaves that have vertical white streaks. She’s compact and grows in a dense rosette. If you prefer modern greenery and structure over pretty flowers, stock up.
She doesn’t like getting wet and soggy, so one of the best places for her is in a pot on a patio or balcony where she stays dry but enjoys the fresh air.
If you want to plant lots in the border, great idea! Pop some small gravel pieces in the planting hole and cover the plant’s base too. This stops too much water rotting her roots.
Queen Victoria looks trendy and fab indoors too. Keep her in bright, indirect sunlight and only water when the topsoil has dried out
