Echeveria secunda a speedy grower, easy-care succulent with fleshy oval-shaped blue-green leaves that form in tight rosettes. In winter the edge of the leaves can turn a hot pink/red and in summer if he’s happy he will send out red and yellow flowers off a 1m stem making it a real show stopper all year round.
Succulents make a great table and office plants because they don’t take up too much room, they are textured, and sometimes surprise you with a tall flower spike.
The trick to succulents is to plant them in free-draining potting mix, put them in the sun, and keep them on the dry side, only water when the soil is dry down to a few centimetres, and barely at all in the winter months.
